Siam Piwat shares vision on sustainability concept at the Thai Institute of Directors Association’s (IOD) 25th anniversary celebration

Siam Piwat Group, led by CEO Chadatip Chutrakul and the executive team, attended the Thai Institute of Directors Association’s (IOD) 25th anniversary celebration in 2024. Themed “Now and Grow On,” the event highlighted IOD’s 25-year success and journey through various crises and challenges. Prof. Hiran Radeesri, Honorary Chairman of the Thai Institute of Directors Association, presided over the opening ceremony, and Mr. Banthoon Lamsam, Honorary Chairman of Kasikornbank Public Company Limited, delivered a special talk on the topic “Earning Trust in a Skeptical World.”

At the event, Ms. Chadatip participated in a fireside chat with Mr. Kulvech Janvatanavit, Managing Director of the IOD on the topic of “How to Stay Ahead of the Future”. She shared her vision for sustainable business practices and Siam Piwat’s mission to develop world-class destinations that not only boost Thailand’s global standing, attract tourists, and enhance global recognition but also benefit surrounding communities and society and improve Thai people’s quality of life. She also recounted how the company navigated through various crises and was able to emerge stronger and maintain its leadership in world-class destination development in a sustainable way. The event, hosted at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, drew over 200 attendees, including IOD members, former IOD chairpersons, experts, and senior executives from leading companies.
