Siam Piwat scales up Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste to Wat Pathum Wanaram School to promote waste sorting and resource efficiency among students

CORPORATE - 16 SEPTEMBER 2024

Siam Piwat has been working actively to scale up its “Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste” project for the third consecutive year. Recently, Ms. Naratipe Ruttapradid, Chief Operating Officer, and staff members visited Wat Pathum Wanaram School to provide 23 sets of trash cans for waste separation as well as educate the students and instill waste separation habits in them. The goal was to enable the students to start practicing simple waste sorting and contribute to recycling efforts by dropping off clean used packaging at Siam Piwat’s Recycle Collection Centers or drive-thru collection points. As an incentive, the school earns ONESIAM Coins based on the rates set for each type of waste, which can be redeemed for educational resources.

Siam Piwat remains dedicated to its role as an organization that creates value for people, communities, society, and the country and strives to develop business models beneficial to a wide range of people, advance a circular economy towards zero waste, serve as a role model for other organizations and the general public, and play an active role in addressing environmental issues for a more sustainable world.
