Siam Piwat presents prize money to its Paralympic athlete employees, as part of a grand celebration to show appreciation for bringing victory to Thailand on the world stage

Siam Piwat Group held a grand reception for two of its employees who are athletes with disabilities following their participation in the 17th Paralympic Games 2024 in Paris, France to celebrate their success and congratulate them. The company’s board of directors, executives, and staff gathered to express their admiration and congratulations to the two athletes, who were among the 79 athletes representing Thailand at the world-class sporting event, for their dedication, determination, and sacrifice, as well as present them with prize money to boost their morale. The event reflects the company’s commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion and its position as a well-growing platform for all.

To honor and celebrate the two Paralympic athletes participating in the 2024 Paralympic Games, Siam Piwat organized a grand reception titled “OUR HEROES, OUR PRIDE: WIN THE WORLD FOR THAILAND.” The grand celebration took place at Parc Paragon, where the company’s board of directors, consisting of Khunying Jada Wattanasiritham, Mrs. Pasinee Limatibul, Mr. Suvait Theeravachirakul, Prof. Kitipong Urapeepatanapong, Mr. Prakid Punyashthiti, Mr. Silawat Santivisat, and Mr. Kanich Punyashthiti, along with executives and employees of Siam Piwat as well as customers and members of the public, formed a line to offer a warm welcome and show support and gratitude to them for bringing honor to Thailand. Siam Piwat’s executives also joined the subsequent lunch party, where they warmly welcomed the two athletes. At the party, Siam Piwat also presented prize money to both employees as a token of appreciation for representing Thailand and bringing honor to the country on the world stage. Ms. Apinya Thongdaeng, a bronze medalist in the women’s team wheelchair fencing epee event, received a prize of 250,000 baht, and Ms. Suneeporn Tanomwong, a track and field athlete, was awarded 100,000 baht. At the event, both athletes expressed their gratitude to Siam Piwat for the continued support and encouragement and conveyed their pride in representing both their company and Thailand at the world-class sporting event.

For over 10 years, Siam Piwat has supported 22 employees who are athletes with disabilities and continuously provided them with opportunities to train, showcase their abilities in various sports competitions worldwide, win various awards, and consistently bring honor to Thailand. Siam Piwat Group is immensely proud that its employees have once again won the world for Thailand, in line with the company’s commitment and mission to demonstrate that Thailand and Thai people are second to none at the global level.
