Siam Piwat strengthens the global sustainability team with new members to set new standards towards world-class sustainability
Siam Piwat Group, a leading real estate and retail business developer, the owner and operator of Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery, and a joint venture partner of ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, is reinforcing its leadership in sustainability-led global destination development by appointing a new global sustainability team to advance projects that create positive impacts on businesses, people, communities, and the environment and set a new sustainability standard through collaborations with global brands and organizations.
Naratipe Ruttapradid, Chief Operating Officer, Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., is at the helm in Siam Piwat Group’s effort to advance sustainability and carry out environmental conservation and revitalization initiatives to achieve net positive impacts and reach its net-zero goal by 2050.
“The key is integrating sustainability into our business operations, a commitment we have upheld since the first day of our inception. Adirek Amnuaykanchanasin, Senior Executive Vice President of Engineering Services, is responsible for sustainable energy management.
“Sustainable energy management is a key factor for the attainment of sustainable development goals. We study and adjust our way of working to find the best solution and optimize energy efficiency without affecting the services we provide to our customers. This includes replacing our lighting systems and equipment. We are also seeking new technologies to meet our needs for building management optimization and clean energy adoption in order to ensure sustainable energy conservation.”
Suttirat Bhanavavatana, Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications & Corporate Brand, Siam Piwat, is a co-developer of Siam Piwat Group’s sustainability framework.

Nopanit Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Acting Group Head - Experiential Design and Project Strategy, is a space co-designer in projects that will take sustainable living to the next level.

Darin Ruangrote, Vice President - Sustainable Development, is a member of the sustainability team who drives sustainability action plans and initiatives towards international standards.

One of our goals is to become Thailand’s first shopping centers to use 100% clean renewable energy by 2030. Furthermore, we place strong emphasis on resource efficiency in line with circular economy principles and strive to solve waste issues in Thailand in a sustainable manner through the ‘Siam Piwat 360o Waste Journey to Zero Waste’ project, with the ultimate goal of achieving a closed-loop waste management system.”
Vorakorn Somkarnsamai, Department Manager - Sustainability Development, is a member of the sustainability team who supervises the implementation of sustainability projects to produce tangible results.
“We are ready to advance our model city into an urban hub of environmental revitalization through our Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste project, which will promote resource efficiency among both internal and external stakeholders. We also strive to raise awareness of proper waste separation through our Recycle Collection Center or RCC, which is Thailand’s first drive-thru waste collection point, where everyone can drop off their cleaned and sorted waste, so that Siam Piwat can pass it on for recycling and upcycling, thus creating maximum benefits in collaboration with our partners through innovation and creative thinking.”
