Shopping Centers in Pathumwan, Ratchaprasong and alliances join hands to organize activities in honor of H.M. the King on the auspicious occasion of H.M.’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary

The shopping centers in Pathumwan and Ratchaprasong, along with partners from both the government and private sectors, comprising the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Police General Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, the Royal Thai Police, Pathumwan District Office, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC), Central Group and affiliated companies, MBK Public Company Limited, Chulalongkorn University’s Office of Property Management, Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA), and Siam Piwat Company Limited, have united to organize grand celebratory events in honor of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024, to express profound gratitude for the King’s benevolence towards Thai people and raise public awareness about the significance of the monarchy to the nation and Thai people. The public is cordially invited to participate in the wide array of activities held by various organizations throughout July.

The launch event for the project was attended by high-ranking executives of various organizations, who wore yellow shirts to display their loyalty and devotion to His Majesty the King. The participants included: Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA): Ms. Sukvishaya Nasomsong, Director of Pathumwan District; Police General Hospital: Pol. Lt. To mark this auspicious occasion, the shopping centers in Pathumwan and Ratchaprasong, together with partners from the government and private sectors, cordially invite the general public to express their loyalty and participate in the following activities:

- Merit-making ceremony and almsgiving to 73 monks on July 25 at 8:00 A.M. at the Buddhavasa (sanctuary area) of Wat Pathum Wanaram Rachaworawihan, in honor of His Majesty the King

- Exhibitions and celebratory activities honoring His Majesty the King on July 26-29 at CentralWorld, MBK Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Siam Paragon

- Candle-lighting ceremony on July 28 at 7:09 P.M. on Pathumwan Skywalk and at the area in front of CentralWorld

- The public is also invited to participate in voluntary blood donation towards a collective goal of 720,000 cc at the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society, in dedication to His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024. The blood donation station will rotate through various malls, starting at Siam Paragon on June 25, September 25, and December 24; followed by MBK Center on June 26, September 26, and December 26; CentralWorld on July 25-28, August 2, and November 1; and Central Chidlom on September 3 and December 3.
