Siam Piwat Group organizes celebrations in honor of His Majesty the King in celebration of H.M. the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024

On the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024, Siam Piwat Group is organizing a series of celebratory events to honor His Majesty under the theme “H.M. the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Tribute” throughout July 2024 at Siam Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM, and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok to express gratitude for His Majesty’s benevolence towards Thai people. As part of this grand celebration, Siam Piwat’s venues will be adorned with commemorative flags, and various activities will be held for Thai citizens to express their loyalty to His Majesty the King. Visitors can participate in various magnificent activities held in honor of His Majesty as well as admire the exquisite handicrafts decorating the venues, created by Sakul Intakul, an internationally renowned floral artist, in celebration of His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday at Siam Paragon and ICONSIAM.

As a display of loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King, Siam Piwat Group is organizing a series of celebratory events for His Majesty’s 72nd birthday on July 28, 2024. Siam Paragon is organizing “The Nation Unites in Commemorating His Majesty the King” in collaboration with public and private sector partners, including Siam Commercial Bank Plc., Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., and embassies from 12 countries, namely Australia, Bhutan, China, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United States of America , as well as Thailand. The event, which will be held from July 26-29 at Parc Paragon, will feature magnificent cultural performances from each country in honor of His Majesty under the theme of “Friendship.” Visitors can also marvel at “Bussabanchalee Maleenopparat Chalermphrachon” – an exquisite art piece inspired by Thai flowers that captures the precious culture and the spirit of the Thai people. This awe-inspiring creation, designed by internationally renowned floral artist Sakul Intakul, will be on display from July 1-31 in the Jewel area as part of the celebrations for His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday anniversary.

Siam Center is organizing “The Shining of YELLOW STAR” event, in which visitors are invited to participate in screen-printing t-shirts with designs featuring the yellow star, the royal flower of His Majesty the King. The designs are created by renowned Thai artists including M.L. Chiratorn Chirapravati, Rukkit Kuanhawate, and Spun Inthawong. Proceeds from the event after expenses will be donated to the Crown Prince Hospital Foundation. The event will also feature workshops from educational institutions and an interactive screen where visitors can collaboratively create a virtual yellow star tree. This event will be held from July 19-29 at Atrium 2 on G Floor. In addition, on His Majesty’s birthday, July 28, 2024, 100 yellow star saplings will be given away to the public to mark the auspicious occasion. Those interested can claim these saplings simply by showing ONESIAM SuperApp at the event area. Siam Discovery, in partnership with Virgin Active, is organizing “TOGETHER WE RIDE.” Sponsored by Siam Commercial Bank Plc. and Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., the event invites the general public to participate in fitness cycling without charge to promote good health. Every kilometer cycled and recorded will be matched by a donation of one baht (up to a maximum of 100,000 baht) to the Crown Prince Hospital Foundation for use in accordance with the foundation’s objectives. The public is invited to join this activity from July 19-29, 2024, on the 4th floor of Siam Discovery, the Exploratorium.

ICONSIAM is partnering with public agencies and private organizations, including the Ministry of Culture, the Department of Cultural Promotion, the Royal Thai Navy, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Charoen Pokphand Group Company Limited, Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited, CP All Public Company Limited, True Corporation Public Company Limited, CP Axtra Public Company Limited, Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited, KASIKORNBANK Public Company Limited, SOOKSIAM, Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin and Thai Craft Studio to organize celebrations in honor of His Majesty the King. In addition, visitors can admire the beauty of a floral art piece titled “Maleesiri Srinavaratsakkarn," designed and brought to life by Sakul Intakul, an internationally renowned floral artist. The key component of this piece is the Dok Ruang Phueng, which is the royal flower. His Majesty’s royal flower, known for its magnificent golden-yellow color which symbolizes auspiciousness. This exquisite art piece will be on display from July 1-31 to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday anniversary. Various activities will also be held in honor of His Majesty, including an international Khon performance “Royal Ramayana, a royal tribute concert by the Royal Thai Navy Music Division, an exclusive ICONIC Multimedia Water Features show, and an art exhibition titled His Majesty Portrait Exhibition”,” as detailed below.

July 14 at 7:00 PM: The public is invited to attend an international Khon performance “Royal Ramayana.” Organized by the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, this performance will feature artists from eight countries presenting various episodes of the Ramayana epic in their unique styles. The event will be held at Suralai Hall on the 7th floor.

July 24: A royal tribute concert by the Royal Thai Navy Music Division titled “Melodies for the Monarch” will be performed at Suralai Hall on the 7th floor. Additionally, a light-and-sound ICONIC Multimedia Water Features spectacle entitled “Majestic Streams - A Tribute to the King’s legacy” will be shown three times, at 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM at the River Park.

July 23 - 28: An art exhibition titled “His Majesty Portrait Exhibition” will be held, featuring works from the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Poh-Chang Academy of Arts Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, and Thai Craft Studio. This exhibition will be located at Charoennakorn Hall on M Floor.

Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, in collaboration with various public and private sector partners, is organizing a special activity called “Bike & Clean Together” in celebration of the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024. The activity honors His Majesty’s royal initiatives and policies related environmental development and the betterment of the quality of life for Thai citizens through public participation. As part of the activity, 45 bicycles will be donated to Wat Bua Roi Chaloemrat Witthaya School for educational purposes. The event also will feature a 10-kilometer bicycle ride starting from Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok to the school, with the participants collecting litter along the way. Additionally, lunch will be provided for 250 students at Wat Bua Roi Chaloemrat Witthaya School in honor of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary.

Furthermore, Siam Piwat Group is joining forces with the shopping centers in the Pathumwan and Ratchaprasong areas, together with various partners from the public and private sectors, to demonstrate their loyalty by organizing celebratory events for His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024. The general public is cordially invited to join the activities held by various organizations throughout July. These include an almsgiving ceremony for 73 monks at Wat Pathum Wanaram Rachaworawihan on July 25 and at Gate 5, ICONSIAM on July 26 in honor of His Majesty the King; exhibitions and celebratory activities honoring His Majesty the King on July 26-29 at Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Siam Paragon; a candle-lighting ceremony on July 28 on Pathumwan Skywalk and at River Park, ICONSIAM; and a voluntary blood donation campaign towards a collective goal of 720,000 cc at the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society, in dedication to His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024.
