Siam Piwat partners with DITP to showcase 10 Thai designers from ICONCRAFT at THAI FASHION & TEXTILE BUSINESS MATCHING TOKYO 2024, elevating Thai brands to the global stage
Bangkok (September 10, 2024) Siam Piwat – a leading real estate and retail business developer, the owner and operator of world-renowned projects such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery, and a joint owner of ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok – has partnered with the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce to take 10 top Thai designers from ICONCRAFT, a space of inspiration celebrating Thai craftsmanship, to the “THAI FASHION & TEXTILE BUSINESS MATCHING TOKYO 2024” to showcase and sell their products. The event, themed “Craft and Sustainability,” was organized by the Office of Commercial Affairs in Tokyo, Japan, an agency under DITP, the Ministry of Commerce. As the only private retail business from Thailand participating in this event, Siam Piwat is leveraging its success to expand Thai brands internationally and “win the world for Thailand,” underscoring its philosophy “Siam Piwat Way” and aspiration to serve as an opportunity platform that fosters sustainable growth for all.
Held on August 29-30, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan, the “THAI FASHION & TEXTILE BUSINESS MATCHING TOKYO 2024” event was part of the Qurated Fashion Incubation Project 2024, an initiative operated by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) to empower and prepare fashion entrepreneurs for the global market. Siam Piwat has been a steadfast supporter of this project, focusing on promoting fashion designs that blend unique Thai local wisdom with contemporary craftsmanship and inspired creativity. For this year, 10 brands were selected by a panel of experts: Frank De Nara, Collector Project, BALC, Marionsiam, Baan Maew Maew, Riva, Salette, Ethinicabaca, E-Nang, and Wonder Anatomie. Their products will be featured for sale at ICONCRAFT stores on the 4th and 5th floors of ICONSIAM, along with new products from six additional brands set to be launched soon.

Independent Thai business owners representing ICONCRAFT who participated in this event spoke about this opportunity to showcase their products to an international market.
