Siam Piwat congratulates Apinya Thongdaeng on winning a bronze medal in women’s wheelchair fencing team event at 2024 Paralympic Games, celebrating her success in bringing honor to the country and winning the world for Thailand

Apinya Thongdaeng is an employee of Siam Piwat Group who represented Thailand in the 2024 Paralympic Games and won a bronze medal in the women’s team wheelchair fencing epee event, bringing honor and fame to the country on the world stage. Siam Piwat has consistently provided opportunities and sponsorship for its athletes with disabilities. For over 10 years, Siam Piwat has supported 22 disabled employee athletes, giving them opportunities to train continuously and showcase their potential in various sports competitions worldwide, where they have won numerous awards and brought recognition to Thailand. Throughout the 2024 Paralympic Games, Siam Piwat demonstrated its unwavering support for Thai athletes by rallying nationwide encouragement for the 79 Thai disabled competitors. In addition, the company hosted an exhibition titled “Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games” from August 28 to September 8 at the Crystal Court on the second floor of Siam Paragon to offer visitors a deep dive into the rich history and significance of the Paralympic Games while also serving as a platform for Thai citizens to express their support for the national athletes. This year, in addition to Apinya Thongdaeng, Siam Piwat sponsored Suneeporn Tanomwong, another employee who represented Thailand in athletics. By providing these athletes with an opportunity to showcase their talents and bring international recognition to the organization regardless of their physical abilities, Siam Piwat has demonstrated its mission of championing diversity, equality, and inclusion and reinforced its position as an opportunity platform.
